Blatt Internship Funding

The application for Summer 2018 internship funding is open!

The Lawrence M. Blatt Biotechnology Internship Fund provides supplemental funding for life science majors in the College of Arts + Sciences at IU-Bloomington completing an internship at a life science company or institution. Students are eligible to receive funding as long as their internship is with a life science company or an employer that has a life science focus. The internship is not required to have a strict scientific focus. There are no geographic restrictions. Open to undergrad and masters students to help defray the cost of travel and housing during an internship.

To be considered, complete the online application in its entirety.  Students must include a copy of their official internship offer when submitting their application. A committee will review all applications and selected students will receive funding through their bursar account.  If selected, the Walter Center will work with any student with a financial aid package, to make sure the awarded scholarship does not negatively impact a student’s current aid package.

To apply for funding please fill out an online application here.
