Start the New School Year Right by Visiting the Walter Center

Hey there! 👋 We just want to drop a quick note about all the exciting things that are happening at the Walter Center this semester. If you didn’t already know, the Walter Center is the career office for the College of Arts + Sciences. It’s your place to go to for advice about lots of things, including:

  • Finding jobs, internships and gaining experience
  • Formatting cover letters and creating a resume from scratch
  • Finding what major is right for you
  • Attending career fairs and other events

Make an appointment with a career coach to talk one-on-one. Otherwise, drop into Career Studio anytime during 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. to go ahead and jump right into planning your career. We’re in Ernie Pyle Hall, which is next door to the Indiana Memorial Union near the parking lot. Come on over and head up to the second floor!

Plan to Attend These Events:

Sept. 17: Career + Internship

Meet College of Arts + Sciences Alumni:

By joining this network, you’ll be able to make connections with THOUSANDS of Hoosiers who work in industries and companies that you might like to work in after graduating from IU. You’ll be able to ask for career advice, gain insights from experienced professionals, and access career development resources.

These alumni are very excited to meet students like you, so get started by heading over to wcsn.indiana.edu to sign up. And we’ll see you around the Walter Center soon!
