Job Boards for Emerging Creative Professionals

Finding that perfect job or internship is always a bit of a treasure hunt, but it can be especially tricky for students seeking positions within the creative sector. It’s not uncommon for organizations, studios, and institutions to have their own unique vernacular when it comes to position titles. Additionally, many of these entities may prioritize the quality of prospective candidates over the quantity, meaning jobs may intentionally be listed on sites geared toward more specialized audiences. LinkedIn and Handshake are good resources for beginning a search, followed by Glassdoor and Indeed. If you’re looking for a more specialized internship or job than these sites typically offer, we’ve compiled a list of additional job boards where emerging creative professionals may be able to find industry-specific opportunities.

It’s important to note that not every job board will always have listings that perfectly align with your skillset or goals, which is why it’s mission-critical to keep communication with your existing professional network at the center of your search strategy. Engaging with alumni and other industry professionals are key components of successfully launching and growing your career.
