Taught by Senior Lecturer Craig Wood, this seminar in current developments in advertising as an economic and social force. Examines contemporary issues in the profession. Students will conduct independent and original research projects.
Craig joined the journalism faculty in 2007. He teaches introductory and advanced advertising, public relations, and integrated marketing communication courses.
Craig’s career in the advertising and public relations industry has spanned 40 years during which he has provided strategic communication, advertising and public relations counsel to some the world’s leading corporations and brands. As executive vice president of Saatchi & Saatchi advertising agency in New York, Craig served as worldwide account director and was chief operating officer of Saatchi & Saatchi/Rowland, an integrated, business-to-business, global communication agency.
