Drop-in Career Coaching

Drop-In Career Coaching

Schedule: Tuesday, 2 – 5 p.m. | Friday, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Between classes, part-time jobs, and extracurriculars, you may feel like you don’t have time to schedule an appointment with a career coach — that’s ok!

Current students in the College of Arts + Sciences can come to Drop-In Career Coaching without making an appointment first. All you need to do is visit the second floor of Ernie Pyle Hall and check-in at the front desk.

What is Career Coaching?

A career coach can help you establish realistic goals, discover solutions to unique challenges you may be up against, develop action plans, and build up your self-confidence.

The one-on-one experience of partnering with a career coach is a great way to:

  • Determine what steps to take next and what strategies to use
  • Receive personalized advice, support, and guidance when making career decisions
  • Come up with a plan that will keep you on track to accomplish your goals

How is Drop-In Coaching different than making an appointment?

The main difference is you don’t need to make an appointment. Drop-In Career Coaching also takes place in a classroom, while one-on-one appointments take place in a career coach’s office. These sessions will also usually take 15-20 minutes, so if you would like to have a more private, in-depth discussion with a career coach, please make an appointment.
