Students from around the USA and the world call Bloomington, Indiana home before venturing out into the world to embark on their international careers. Indiana University places a high value on educating and preparing all of its students to be prepared for such careers.
All students are invited to attend a panel discussion on “Global Etiquette and Intercultural Competency” as part of International Education Week 2017.
This event is primarily for international students and domestic students who are looking to internationalize their careers. There will be a moderated, three-person panel discussion, followed by a Q&A session. Panelist topics will include:
- Importance of intercultural competency in today’s society
- Global business etiquette from different regions of the world
- Preparing to work globally
- Professional norms across cultures
Attire for this event is business casual.
