The Talk: Integrated Marketing Communications Career Conversations

The advertising industry has seen dramatic changes over the course of the last year. Join media alum, George Logothetis, as he shares his insights and experiences regarding the skills one needs as they enter the industry. George will offer examples of his past work to help students get an understanding of the craft of writing copy and the ins-and-outs of producing creative work. 

George Logothetis (class of 1987) double majored in Telecommunications and English at Indiana University. He earned a Copywriting degree from Portfolio Center, in Atlanta, where he also worked as a Writer/Producer and on-air voice talent at WAPW-FM. From there, he moved to New York,  where he’s been based for over twenty years, holding positions at creative hot shops like Chiat/Day, Wieden + Kennedy, SSK, Ammirati + Puris, KBS, Deutsch, Mother, Partners & Spade, Saatchi & Saatchi, and others. His work has been celebrated at Cannes, the D&AD, One Show, Clios, Effies, Addys, Mercury Awards, Webbys, Shorties, Mashies, and more.
