International Careers

These resources are designed to help students research and explore international careers – both U.S. students seeking opportunities abroad and international students seeking opportunities in the U.S.

This resource posts job opportunities for Chinese students and all IU students interested in finding employment in China after graduation.

This resource pulls and compiles data from an array of sources – including public web sites, job boards, social networks and government agencies (Dept. of Labor, Census Bureau, IRS and FBI) – to help students seeking U.S. visas find companies that may be open to sponsorship.

Office of International Services
The Office of International Services (OIS) provides international students and scholars with assistance in all areas related to international study—including admissions, visas, advising, and employment. OIS also provides updates and resources on recent immigration-related issues (e.g., executive orders, DACA).

Office of Overseas Studies
The office of Overseas Study can help you earn IU credit by exploring educational opportunities throughout the world. These experiences can greatly diversify your resume for future job, internship, or graduate school opportunities.

This resource is a specialized job platform serving international students and alumni of U.S. universities and colleges in their search for internships, optional practical training (OPT), and full-time jobs in United States and abroad. Expatriates (foreign workers) in the United States will also find the job board of great value to them.
