The Marketing Specialist Role
The Marketing Specialist will help develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels. They will handle the creation, proofreading, updating, and maintenance of company and employee-specific physical and digital platforms, including but not limited to designing marketing assets, presentations, website updates, email newsletter execution, social media updates, blogs, podcasts, videos and photos, and event marketing.
This position is the first step in the expansion/redevelopment of the Certus marketing department and will report to the Executive Vice President of Business Development. We are seeking to transform our corporate messaging and strategy to better articulate to the market the value of our experience and collaborative approach to managing risk in an employee benefit plan. The individual in this role will have significant opportunity to influence and design our marketing approach for the foreseeable future. It is our expectation that the successful execution of this role will ultimately lead to greater responsibility and growth within our company. While this is an entry level position, we intend to offer a competitive benefit and compensation package to attract candidates with much greater long term career potential.
