HHart is a unique student and staff collaboration that organizes art events for students from all majors. Our biggest event is the HHart Showcase held every February, a night filled with art galleries, live performances, written word displays, and amazing food. We provide opportunities for general members to volunteer at arts events, and we hope that all students join us in celebrating the arts. HHart also focuses on providing a platform for artists whose talents and perspectives are underrepresented in art spaces, as many of our artists’ works deal explicitly with issues related to their communities and identities.
Students and staff from the Hutton Honors College, the Hudson and Holland Scholars Program, and the Collins Living-Learning Community of all majors are eligible to submit artwork to be shown at the HHart Showcase. Anyone is welcome to attend and/or volunteer at the showcase!
The HHart Core Committee is composed of students and faculty/staff from the Hutton Honors College and the Hudson & Holland Scholars Program. They spearhead the organization and execution of the annual showcase.
