Kids For CASA is a student ran club that helps the main organization, CASA, with anything from fundraising, helping set up and closing events, and spreading awareness of what CASA is. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. CASA helps kids in the local foster care system by providing them with an advocate to help them through the tough situation they are currently in. The advocate acts as a parental figure to the child, giving them the support and guidance lacking in their life’s. The goal for Kids For CASA is to support the main organization in any way, so they, the experts, can spend all their time focusing on helping the kids. Kids For CASA does not associate with the CASA kids. We support them in a behind the scenes way. Kids For CASA is looking for people eager to help the local community in an impactful way.
