The Student Advisory Board was established to serve as a link between the students, faculty and administration of the Comparative Literature Department. The main goals of the SAB are to foster a greater communication among the students, to create more opportunities for social and professional exchanges, and to help promote comparative studies in general. The SAB accomplishes these goals by organizing social and academic events, acting as a resource for prospective students, and serving on departmental and campus committees. Moreover, the SAB represents and coordinates the input of graduate students for departmental decisions and campus-wide organizations like the Graduate and Professional Student Organization (GPSO).
