The Black Art Coalition seeks to provide resources, arts experiences, and community building in order to facilitate the growth and development of artists of the African diaspora across different mediums within the city of Bloomington.
We envision this group to be able to: 1) provide a support system for Black identifying artists in the city of Bloomington 2) facilitate spaces to create, showcase work, connect artists, and have artists be recognized for their artistic talents and 3) create an environment that authentically promotes every narrative of Black identifying artists.
