Women & Co. is a diverse and supportive group of passionate women developing professional and interpersonal skills. We strive to enhance each member’s professional development through seminars, workshops and mentorship programs. Our members also gain new skills and experiences through networking with other students and faculty. Most of our members enter industries dominated by males. Thus we aspire to fully prepare our members for life after college. We work to broaden each member’s view of the business world by connecting our members to current events so they can adapt and apply these skills in an effective way. Women & Co. is a community that provides model leadership and mentoring for women in business, and is a source of inspiration and empowerment for its members to educate and elevate.
Women & Co.’s purpose is to bring together a group of like-minded women, who are knowledgeable, well-rounded and driven. The organization name represents all that it encompasses. The Co is more than company. Co is conversation, commitment, cognizance, comprehension, cosmopolitan, consciousness, counter points, coaching, coalition, conduit, and coexistence.
Women & Company is composed of six different teams each having a chief officer who oversees and guides officers on the team with an Executive Board that consists of the President, Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Co-Chief Officers of Recruitment. The six teams are based off of the most prominent departments in most companies which are Human Resources, Global Awareness, Corporate Relations, Philanthropy, Marketing, and Alumni Relations. The three core values of Women & Company are the guiding principles to the organization’s activities and involvement. The three values are education, engagement and empowerment.
