Step into the Professional Portrait Booth and elevate your selfie game with ease. The touchscreen will guide you through taking three portraits, with the option to retake one. You’ll receive a link via email with instructions on how to create an account, access, and download your photos.

Have accessibility needs? Make an appointment with our staff photographer or visit the Walter Center’s welcome desk to learn more. We’ll work with you to capture a portrait you love.
The Professional Portrait Booth may not be physically accessible to all users. If you’re unable to use the booth and need a walk-in portrait, please talk to the Walter Center’s Welcome Desk staff. A photographer on staff will either take your portrait or work with you to schedule a time to get one taken.
After you receive your photos, use them! Upload your new photo to your LinkedIn, Handshake, and Walter Center Success Network profiles.
You can use your professional portrait as your passport photo. Review the U.S. Department of State’s passport photo requirements before taking your photo, and then use their online tool to crop your photo to the appropriate dimensions.
Wear what makes you feel comfortable and confident! This is different for everyone. Stop by the Career Studio to talk outfits and concerns over with a Peer Coach. Visually, you’ll look best if you avoid loud patterns and large accessories. If you plan to use the portrait booth, avoid wearing white because you’ll blend into the background.
