Be a career champion
Devoted faculty = difference-makers
Time and time again, our faculty have shown their willingness to lean in and do the hard work, building the strong relationships and mutual trust that have become a cornerstone of success for our students.
With over 14,000 graduate and undergraduate students seeking guidance, we need your help now more than ever. Some of the ways we can work together:
Incentivizing students to visit the Walter Center for a one-on-one resume critique allows them to experience the benefits of meeting with a career coach and utilizing the Career Studio to meet with peer coaches and polish their career preparedness skills.
We can help your department cultivate connections between students and working professionals. Examples include student panels, employer visits, and alumni guest speakers, but we're open to your ideas!
Have a gap in your schedule? Let us present to your students! Career coaches can do presentations on topics such as:
- Resumes and cover letters
- LinkedIn and networking
- Interview preparation and job searching
We'll work with you to make sure the content is relevant to your students. We ask you to give us at least a month's advance notice of your preferred date.
Together, we can prepare every arts + sciences student for a lifetime of meaningful work.
