The Walter Center for Career Achievement is excited to announce the 2022 Connect Challenge Pitch Competition winners. The winners were announced during the Connect Conference on Friday, February 25th, 2022 following their presentations to a panel of judges.
Creative Endeavors
- Winner: Peng Dynasty by Heidi Peng
- Runner-up: TURDS by Emily Davis
Nonprofit and Social Good
- Winner: Habitat Sartorial by Payne Vogtman
- Runner-up: The Duro Collection by Eduardo Duro
Startups, Tech, and Inventions
- Winner: Concilium by Micah Roberson, Parth Kapil, Jay Amlani, and Arpan Ojha
- Runner-up: No Waste Plant Based by Mara Flynn & Donald McAninch
Each winner and runner-up in the competition receives scholarship funds, up to $2,000 and other gifts, including a part-time membership to The Mill.
The Connect Challenge is an idea pitch competition for students in the IU College of Arts + Sciences. Students are invited to present their innovative ideas, and the winners are awarded a prize package designed to help bring their ideas to life.
